Daddy is finally home after three weeks overseas.  We were curious as to how Maddie was going to react when she saw him again.  And it was really sweet, she had the biggest smile for him and wanted to hold his hand the whole way home.  With Tom home we've gone back to our normal everyday routine.  She is back to sleeping in her crib at 8am and going to our bed in the middle of the night.  Life is good again!  

Funny little things about Maddie:

- She is saying "oh no" and "oh man" ( I need to watch what I say in front of her LOL)

- She is giving kisses when asked

- Talks, Talks and Talks ... but nothing we can understand yet

Which Way to MN?

I guess it's true what they say about taking a child on vacation.  Maddie is still on vacation time and refuses to sleep in her crib at night now.  She wants to stay up late and go to sleep with mama.  She is very attached to me right now and constantly afraid I'm going to leave her.  We are both counting down the days until Daddy comes home LOL 

I know she misses everyone in MN and loves the Minnesota Gopher shirt Chi Bao Han got her.  Can't wait to head back to MN in August!

Maddie had her first Easter in MN with Eva, Tillie & Josie.  Di Hai had an Easter egg hunt at her place and all the girls got a great Easter basket.

Maddie had an amazing time in Minnesota meeting her extended family.  She had open arms for everyone and felt very loved.

She had a special bond with Di Nga from the moment they meet.

Yesterday we took Maddie to the BIG pool for the first time.  And as we expected she was all smiles.  Once we put the life jacket on she was jumping in the water by herself and kicking her legs.  

 Today Daddy left to go overseas for a few weeks.  We didn't know how Maddie was going to take it and she was crying when she saw Daddy put suitcases in the car.  On the ride home from the airport she slept but as soon as we got home she was asking for "Ba".  She's been extra clinging with me today too.  But the rest to the day was great while she helped mama pack for our trip to MN tomorrow.
