New Photos of Maddie

Today we got some new photos of sweet, Madeline and some new information.

Maddie is currently 20.7lbs, 74cm (height) and has 6 teeth.  

She is crawling around and can walk while holding on to handrails.  She loves to play with the nannies and can say "mama".  She eats noodles and congee.  Looks like she is a good sleeper too.  Her sleep time is 8:30pm-7am and nap time 11:30am.  She eats 3 times a day: 7am, 11am and 5pm.

Looks like our baby girl is very strong and has daddy's hair style. (for now!)  


Can't wait to bring this little Angel home....

Wall Art

Today we received notification that the agency got our paperwork and that means..... more paperwork!  The next step now is waiting for our I-800 form to come back and then it's on to travel plans.  Its been weird typing in Maddie's new name for her paperwork and just seeing it in print.  Very surreal experience for us.  While sitting on the computer, mommy of course had to start shopping for clothes for Maddie.  With Di Yen's gift card to BabyGap & Old Navy we were able to pick out 4 outfits for our little princess.  

Tonight I worked on some wall art for Maddie's room.  I loved how it turned out and can't wait to pick it up at Costco tomorrow.

LOA Received

Yesterday was Madeline's 1st Birthday and today we got a present via email.  We FINALLY got the LOA from China.  What does this mean?  It means China has confirmed she is ours!  And now the paperwork continues.  After we submit our I-800 form (which will be fedex to the agency on Friday) we have approximately another 11-15 weeks until we travel to meet and bring her home.  So, she might be the best Christmas present EVER!

Just last week we sent another care package to our little girl with clothes from Cousin Tillie and more disposable cameras.  We are hoping that when we pick her up they'll have lots of pictures on those cameras.
